Asbjørn has close to three decades of experience as an operator, investor and advisor. He started his career at A. P. Møller-Maersk before earning his MBA degree at London Business School. He played a central role in establishing Bain & Company in Denmark, and served as the Head of Long-Term Equity Investments at KIRKBI, in addition to being a member of the Investment Committee. Most recently, he led the Danish Private Equity and M&A practices at Boston Consulting Group.
He has worked extensively with owners and investors in the Industrial Goods and Greentech sectors, offering expertise on growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and the redesign of operating models.
Beyond his professional life, Asbjørn harbors a deep passion for music. He is an enthusiastic guitarist, composes and records songs in his home studio, and maintains his fitness through regular workouts and playing padel tennis.
He lives in Charlottenlund outside Copenhagen with his family.
