Springfield, IL – The State of Illinois Governor’s Office of Management and Budget has selected Diamond Management and Technology Consultants partnered with Clarity Partners, LLC to assist the GOMB and various State agencies continue the design and implementation of a Shared Services model for providing administrative and support services to agencies under the Governor. GOMB is responsible for, among other duties, the development, implementation and management of initiatives to increase the operational efficiency of State agencies and organizations. The Diamond and Clarity team will focus on three shared services; Healthcare, Social Services, and Economic and Environmental Development which will serve 22 agencies and approximately 1000 employees in HR and Finance.

Over the past three state fiscal years, the State has increased the productivity of its administrative functions by undertaking a major reconstruction and centralization of certain statewide administrative functions. In September 2005, GOMB began a strategic review of the various ways in which the reorganizations undertaken by the State to date could be enhanced and further efficiencies obtained.
