Clarity Partners Managing Partner David C. Namkung had the honor of accepting a resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that recognized May as Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month. Sponsored by the Honorable Toni Preckwinkle, President of the Cook County Board, and multiple County Commissioners, the resolution gives credit to the 300,000 Asian Americans who reside in the County and have contributed significantly to the development of neighborhoods and cities.

The resolution furthermore acknowledges the involvement of Asian Americans, fighting in the United States Armed Forces, developing as valued professionals, shaping policies as elected officials, and so on. As Chair of President Preckwinkle’s Asian American Advisory Council, Mr. Namkung was proud to accept the distinction on behalf of his community. He gave his regards to fellow Asian Americans and expressed a deep gratitude of Cook County’s recognition.
