Chicago, IL – Clarity Partners was engaged to provide Microsoft Active Directory administration services to the Chicago Public Schools as a subcontractor to Blackwell Consulting Services as part of the Enterprise Server & Network Support project.

Microsoft Active Directory provides a single point of management for Windows-based user accounts, clients, servers, and applications. It also helps organizations integrate systems not using Windows with Windows-based applications, and Windows-compatible devices, thus consolidating directories and easing management of the entire network operating system.

Clarity's Microsoft Active Directory Administrator will assist with the Active Directory Deployment project to bring over 600 individual school network domains into the CPS Microsoft Active Directory Forest. Clarity’s Network Administrator will provide Level II and III support for Active Directory domain and trust issues and travel to the schools to repair, reconfigure, and resolve issues. In addition, Clarity will train technology coordinators and lab personnel at the schools.
