Wheaton, IL – Clarity has partnered with Blend Interactive and Lakeshore Concepts to redesign and develop the website for the County of DuPage in Ilinois. The purpose of the redesign is to improve the accessibility of information on the website through site reorganization, creating intuitive navigation, enhancing search capability and increasing information accuracy while implementing more up-to-date web technology. The new site and design will facilitate the exchange of information between government and constituents, embracing the county’s recently established “Transparency in Government” initiatives. The goals of the website redesign include:

  • Improve the experience of constituents visiting the site
  • Eliminate redundant information
  • Ensure information is accurate and timely
  • Educate constituents on the operations of County government
  • Improve search capabilities on the site

DuPage County has chosen Ektron CMS400.net Version 8 for their Content Management System, and will host the site on DuPage County Web servers using IIS. The new website will be Section 508 compliant, giving disabled employees and members of the public access to information that is comparable to the access available to others.

The redesign work started in January and is expected to be completed by the fall of 2010.
